From the legacy of the 1965 Immigration and Naturalization Act to the impact of the current political climate and legislative battles – the speakers trace the key political and social impact of these developments in Northern Virginia.
On Friday, October 13 SPIA Students toured the Capitol, sat at the U.S. House of Representatives and visited the offices of Senator Tim Kaine where they met with his legislative corespondents, Ms. Portia Boon and Andrew Kalaris. Our next tour will be the United Nations headquarters in New York City in early November.
