Learn from any and all jobs you have throughout your life.  Start somewhere and create your own career path.

Third, set some stretch goals for yourself.

Take risks to get ahead in your career.  Be brave and step out of your comfort zone, even when you make mistakes.

Fifth, create your personal “Advisory Board”.

Everyone needs a support system so surround yourself with a network who can help you.

Include people with information, knowledge and expertise to help you solve problems;  people with power to open doors for you and advance your career;  and people who can help you continue to learn and grow in your area of expertise.
