Deepak Gyawali.

Mr. Deepak Gyawali is the recipient of a 2018 Google Developer Challenge Scholarship. The scholarship is a partnership between Udacity and Google to provide resources for people to meet current development demands.

The scholarship program is structured in two parts:

Phase 1: Challenge Scholarships

The first phase of this scholarship provides 3-months of access to one of four Udacity courses: Intro to HTML + CSS, Offline Web Applications, Android Basics and Developing Android Apps. Scholarship recipients in these courses will receive a robust community experience supported by dedicated Community Managers, Udacity mentor support, and a chance to qualify for a full Nanodegree scholarship.

Phase 2: Nanodegree Scholarship

The top 10% students who complete Phase 1 earn an additional 6-month scholarship to one of four Nanodegree Programs: Front-End Web Developer, Mobile Web Specialist, Android Basics Nanodegree and Android Developer. The full-scholarships will include project reviews, mentor-ship and community support.

I have experienced many things the first time in the last couple of months on my first trip to the United States. Everything here is new and still fresh in my memory.

I remember the first time I walked to school on the path full of autumn leaves, noticing the breath vapor blowing away in the fall cool breezes. At school, I met new friends coming from far away countries, the countries that I barely knew before I came to the States. A Nepalese classmate girl possesses a pair of deep eyes which can smile. A South African girlfriend has a gifted voice touching people’s hearts. A kind Kyrgyzstani guy has a great sense of humor.
