Dr. Osama Morad, SCIS Adjunct faculty member, has published, in collaboration with others, a paper titled “Computer-based technology and student engagement: a critical review of the literature.” The paper has been published in the International Journal of Education Technology in Higher Education.

Dr. Morad holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology from George Mason University and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering (UVA), Computer Science (UVA), and Instructional Systems Development (UMD). His research and development interests include object-oriented methodologies, mobile computing, cloud-based computing, cognitive problem solving, and instructional systems development.
