Creating a Successful Career Strategy

The Career Center and The School of Business are pleased to announce a presentation by Ms. Diana Levy, graduate of the first MBA class at VIU this Thursday, November 17th at 3pm in the Student Support Center.

Diana Levy is the founder of Ilico Consulting, LLC. She started the company in 2014 and brings over 12 years of professional experience managing complex PMOs across various industries: financial, energy and transportation. Ms. Levy is recognized for mobilizing organizational resources to establish and manage Project Management Offices (PMO) resulting in increased productivity, efficient utilization of resources, cost efficiency and compliance.


Prior to establishing Ilico, Ms. Levy has held senior management positions supporting complex technical PMOs at various Washington-area based organizations, such as Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), New West Technologies LLC, U.S. Department of Energy, Federal Credit Unions, and others.

Ms. Levy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in the International Economic Relations from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Uzbekistan, MBA from the Virginia International University and Masters of Science in Project Management from the George Washington University. Ms. Levy is also PMP certified.

She will be sharing her experiences on building a network of professional relationships and creating a job search strategy which contributed to her outstanding career success.  Her experience will help students be proactive in preparing themselves to find internship opportunities and for employment after graduation.  Students are invited to submit questions at the conclusion of her presentation.
