Congratulations to the new representatives for the VIU Student Union. Our school is very proud to announce that this is the second consecutive term wherein an SCIS student has been elected as Student Union president. Nanda Kumar was formerly the IT Club’s secretary and one of its founders.
With ambitious goals to improve the quality of VIU student life and to serve as a liaison for students and VIU administration, Mr. Kumar and his team have a lot of work cut out for them. Let’s give them our support!
For other SCIS students who wish to enrich their undergraduate or graduate experience at VIU, consider joining a club (like the IT Club) or volunteering at VIU events. There are always opportunities to shine as students and hone your skills and talent as young professionals and future leaders.
